Submission preview

Preview a submission's full content directly from the Submissions list — labels, values, file links, and metadata — without opening a separate page or leaving the list view.

Open the preview

1. In the Joomla administrator, open Easy Forms → Submissions.
2. The rightmost column on each row shows a Preview action.
3. Click it. A modal panel slides in with the full submission detail.

What the preview shows

• Every field's label and submitted value.
• File links for any uploaded files (click to open).
• Metadata: submission UUID, created timestamp, IP policy result (full / anonymised / none), user agent, current status.

What the preview does not do (yet)

• No edit-in-place — the preview is read-only.
• No keyboard navigation between submissions.
• No notes or status actions inside the modal — those are part of the Approval workflow (planned for Pro v3).

When the preview button is missing

The preview action only appears when the Pro license is active. If you don't see it after activating Pro:

• Confirm the Pro system plugin is enabled under Extensions → Plugins.
• Reload the Submissions list (a stale browser cache can hide the new column).
• Check the License screen for a valid status.
