Appearance
Using NexusConsent Pro
Start under Components → NexusConsent PRO. Services is the main workspace; Scan reports, Setup Health, and License are the other main screens.
First setup
- Activate the installation.
- Open Banner settings and review the consent text, appearance, policy references, and manual patterns.
- Choose Scan site in Services and keep the tab open until the scan finishes.
- Review the detected services, where they appeared, and their proposed categories.
- Complete Name and block for unknown services you want to manage, or explicitly ignore an entry with a reason.
- Select reviewed services, choose Block until consent, and confirm the preview.
- Open Setup Health, run checks, and complete the browser checks relevant to your site.
- Configure Schedule for ongoing discovery and notifications.
Changing a service's category or seeing it in a scan does not by itself apply a blocking rule. The confirmation step is what changes the installed consent configuration.
Routine maintenance
After adding a tag, extension, embed, or template change:
- Scan the affected page or run another site scan.
- Review new and changed services before applying rules.
- Recheck Setup Health and test the visitor flow.
- Review scheduled change summaries and acknowledge them after dealing with the changes.
If a published change needs reversing, open History and undo the latest publication. See Services & blocking rules.
Consent records
Open Consent records inside Services to inspect saved choices and use Export CSV when permitted. These are the latest stored states per visitor token, not a complete history of every choice.
The CSV contains more detail than the list: full consent identifiers, saved choices, browser information, anonymized IP addresses, and timestamps. Handle it as site data and share only what your workflow requires.
Visitor experience
Enable Smart Embeds to provide local placeholders for blocked frames. Enable consent panel details to explain what optional categories control.
Test in a private window: before choosing, after granting one category, after rejecting another, and after revoking. Also check keyboard navigation and your site's public cached pages. A server-side scan does not verify those browser interactions for you.
