Pro Configuration
Open Options in the NexusConsent Pro component for scan defaults, Smart Embeds, consent-panel details, and permissions. Enabling or reconfiguring Smart Embeds or consent-panel details requires usable license access; turning an existing feature off remains available.
Site scan defaults
- Pages per manual scan: default 20, from 1 to 200. Scan site selects pages across your menu items, categories, and articles.
- Pages per scheduled run: default 25, from 5 to 50. Runs check the home page and the next slice of the page list, continuing from there next time.
- Scan batch size: default 3, from 1 to 3 pages per short batch.
- Included URLs: optional same-origin URLs, one per line, for pages you want included.
- Excluded paths: optional same-origin paths to skip, one per line.
A manual scan needs its tab open while batches run. A scheduled scan continues through Joomla's scheduler. See site scans and scheduled scans.
Smart Embeds
Enable Smart Embeds is off by default. All supported providers are selected initially: YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Spotify, and Other embedded content.
Select the providers that should receive placeholders, then enable the feature. Each provider still needs an effective blocking rule in the appropriate consent category. See Smart Embeds.
Consent panel details
- Show what each choice controls: off by default; adds expandable service and cookie details under optional consent categories.
- Include services from elsewhere on the site: on by default; includes configured services not held on this page.
- Offer addresses under Technical details: on by default; shows held resource addresses in a second expandable section.
The last two options apply when the main switch is enabled. See consent panel details for what each list means.
Permissions
Use Joomla's component permissions to separate access from the actions an administrator may perform:
- Access Administration Interface: open the workspace and read its records.
- Configure Options Only: edit component options and manage the Schedule panel.
- Scan: run scans and Health retests.
- Publish: change service decisions and apply, undo, or remove managed consent rules.
- Manage License: activate, refresh, and deactivate.
- Export consent records: download current-state records as CSV.
- Delete: delete scan reports.
Saving a schedule also requires Scan permission. Managing the native scheduled task needs the relevant permissions in Joomla Scheduled Tasks. The standalone plugin's privileged Scan and Export tools retain their own Super User checks.
Banner settings and manual patterns
Banner appearance, text, cookie settings, retention, vendor signals, and manual patterns remain under System – NexusConsent. Use Banner settings from Services to open that plugin when your account has access.
See the consent plugin configuration for those settings. If someone changes manual patterns while you are reviewing a Pro publication, Pro asks you to review the changed configuration before applying it.
