NexusConsent Pro

NexusConsent Pro adds a Joomla administrator workspace for finding third-party services, reviewing when they may load, watching for changes, and checking your consent setup. It installs as one complete package, including the consent engine.

What you get

  • Services & blocking rules — review detected services, assign categories, preview changes, and apply rules with an undo history.
  • Site scans — inspect a page or a bounded selection of public pages and save reports showing services, locations, and coverage.
  • Scheduled scans — scan weekly or monthly through Joomla Scheduled Tasks and receive change summaries in the administrator inbox or by email.
  • Setup Health — review automatic findings, complete a separate browser checklist, and print a dated technical setup review.
  • Smart Embeds — replace supported blocked iframes with local placeholders and a load-once action.
  • Consent panel details — explain which services a category controls, their declared cookies, and optional technical addresses.
  • License activation — manage this installation's license and authenticated package updates.

The administrator workspace has four main screens: Services, Scan reports, Setup Health, and License. History, consent records, and scheduling are panels inside Services.

Getting started

  1. Install the Pro package. A separate Free installation is not required.
  2. Activate your license.
  3. Run a site scan, review the services, and apply the blocking rules you approve.
  4. Open Setup Health and test the visitor consent flow in a private window.
  5. Set up scheduled scans to monitor later changes.

Free and Pro

Free provides the standalone consent plugin: banner and modal controls, manual patterns and presets, a one-page scanner, vendor consent signals, and current-state consent records with CSV export.

Pro adds the managed service workspace, multi-page scan reports, scheduling and notifications, Setup Health, Smart Embeds, and consent-panel disclosures. Banner appearance and text still live in the consent plugin settings.

If you already use Free, installing Pro preserves compatible consent settings and records. Existing blocking and saved rules continue if the Pro license lapses; new licensed actions and updates require usable license access. See license behavior.

Coverage and limits

Scans inspect server-rendered HTML, not a browser session executing a tag manager. Browser-only behavior needs a separate manual check. Scheduled scans report changes and never apply consent rules automatically.

Setup Health is a technical review, not a legal compliance certificate. NexusConsent Pro is not an IAB-registered or Google-certified CMP; the legal disclaimer applies to both editions.

For version-specific changes, see the Pro changelog.
