Formatrica Pro — Changelog ​

What's new in the Pro edition. The Pro package includes everything from the free edition plus the features below.

1.1.2 — 2026-07-15 ​

  • The first page of a multi-step form can now be titled. The first Step Break's settings gained a "First step title" input — no break precedes page one, so the first break names it. Untitled first pages keep the "Step 1" default.
  • Step tabs now validate before jumping forward. Clicking a later step in the progress bar validates the current page first (the same gate as the Next button); jumping backward stays free.
  • Fixed the Static Image field appearing blank. The builder preview now resolves relative image paths correctly and shows a placeholder card when the image can't load, and the field settings warn before saving when the URL is off-site or the alt text is missing — the two cases where the image is dropped.
  • Fixed Twilio SMS settings appearing wiped after a builder reload. The saved configuration (including the encrypted API secret) was always stored correctly — the builder just failed to display it.
  • Payment forms now fail closed without an active licence. If payments can't be processed (lapsed licence), the public form shows a neutral "temporarily unavailable" notice and submissions are refused — previously submissions were accepted without payment. Saving a form without the payments capability also shows a clear warning that the payments toggle was reverted.
  • Fixed the Save & Resume email. The "resume your draft" link now sends through the email delivery provider you configured, instead of the default WordPress mailer — so resume links reach visitors on sites using SMTP or an email API.

1.1.1 — 2026-07-10 ​

  • Clearer Payments settings. The Payments screen now shows provider dashboard and setup links, field hints, and the exact webhook events to configure for Stripe and PayPal.
  • Two- and three-column layouts moved to Free. Multi-column authoring is now baseline for everyone; Pro stays focused on advanced workflows such as conditional logic, payments, Save & Resume, PDFs, AI, and advanced integrations. Existing forms render unchanged.

1.1.0 — 2026-07-09 ​

The Pro launch release. On top of everything in Free 1.1.0, Pro adds:

  • Layout & flow: multi-step forms with a progress indicator, conditional logic (show/hide fields by rules), and redirect on submit.
  • Advanced fields: Divider, Heading, Rating, Static Image, Checkbox Group, Geolocation, Multi-file upload, Rich Text, Dynamic Select, and money-safe Calculation.
  • Advanced validation rules (regex, IBAN, credit card, restricted words, email DNS, password, and compound rules).
  • Pro integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce, Twilio SMS, and authenticated / unlimited webhooks.
  • Builder power tools: modal forms, canvas quick actions, a headless submission API, custom wrapper class and field attributes, and additional theme presets.
  • Submission preview in the admin.
  • Save & Resume (drafts), PDF documents, submitter confirmation emails, and email template controls.
  • AI form generation (OpenAI).
  • Payments (Stripe, PayPal).
  • Pro licensing with in-dashboard updates.
